When the flat-six engine bolted to the middle of the Porsche Cayman S first fires up, it makes a lumpy, erratic and hoarse noise that nearly brings its health to question. For a car that pays homage to Porsche's great mid-engine racers of the past, it sounds more than a bit out of place. Thing is, any good singer needs a moment to warm their vocal cords before a performance. Some even say the added sound effects are part of the boxer engine's charm. Indeed, the sweet song that ensues is well worth the wait for operating temperature.

Steinmetz Opel Insignia

The new Opel Insignia is already a car that many tuners want to modify. It has a nice design, it’s not expensive at all and it has a lot of innovative systems that make it more interesting than other cars. Steinmetz is one of the tuning companies that made a special tuning package for Insignia. They lowered the suspension system, installed 20″ alloy rims and modified the front spoiler, floor mats and the rear bumper. Insignia is the new European Car of the Year and it’s available in four versions equipped with a 2.0L diesel engine which could develop between 110 HP and 190 HP. The petrol versions range from 140 HP to 260 HP for the 2.8L V6 turbo engine.
