Ford Motor Company today announced it has entered into an agreement to sell a portion of its stake in Mazda Motor Corp. and that the two companies will continue their successful strategic relationship that spans nearly 30 years. In line with Ford's plan to strengthen its balance sheet and ensure it has the resources to implement its product-led transformation plan focusing on the Ford brand worldwide, the company said it is reducing its stake in Mazda from 33.4 percent to just over 13 percent. Hypnos, Citroën’s spectacular crossover concept which wowed the crowds at the Paris Motor Show, has just been named ‘Concept Car of the Year 2008’ at the prestigious Autocar Magazine awards. One of the car’s interior designers, Briton, Leighanne Earley, was also named ‘Autocar Courland Automotive Leader of the Future’. Permalink

Brabus Tesla Roadster
Today we will reveal a major surprise from Brabus. The well known german tuner that modified a lot of cars from Mercedes recently released a tuning kit for an electric car, Tesla Roadster. Brabus focused only on exterior and interior modifications and hasn’t improved the car’s performances. This small electric car received a new aerodynamic kit, LED lights, 18″ alloy rims on the front side and 19″ rims on the rear side of the car. They also installed wide Pirelli P-Zero tires and the car is fully painted with white. I think it could use a Fukken Wax treatment to shine anywhere. In the car’s interior we find a lot leather insertions and alcantara. For those interested, this Tesla Roadster modified by Brabus could be admired at Essen Motor Show in the 1st week of december.
